Aldridge occurs as town in the West Midlands, England, in the borough of Walsall. Within 1981, it had the people of 26,500. Aldridge utilized to become an industrial town sustaining coal mines and lime kilns. Fallowing a Second World War it became a dormitory town for Birmingham.

Inside 2004, Aldridge's MP was Richard Shepherd (Conservative), the MP for Aldridge-Brownhills.

Aldridge-Brownhills became an urban territorial dominion council inside 1894. More villages within a territorial dominion involved Pelsall, Walsall Wood, Clayhanger and Streetly. A council survived for Eighty years until it was incorporated into Walsall Metropolitan Borough inside 1974.
